2023-24 Jr. Basketball Cheer
SEASON DETAILS
We are very excited to announce one of our newest cheer program "THE WALKER YOUTH CHEER CLUB!!
Our Cheer Club teams participates yearly in local community events, basketball cheer,
minor league baseball games, league cheer exhibitions, pop up shops, cheer camps & parades!!!
This is a great opportunity for beginning cheerleaders or cheerleaders that want a short commitment.
Cheerleaders will learn courtside cheers, stunts, tumble and a dance routine.
No tryout is required for Walker Cheer Club. Just sign up for a 5 month season or
choose to cheer with us year round!! The teams cheer at 1-4 events or activities per month.

SQUADS/AGES Youth/ Juniors: 5-9 Seniors- 10-15 COST OF CHEER $150- Per cheerleader registration- includes registration, administration fee & league association fee. $175- Fundraiser- We ask that each cheerleader participate in a team fundraiser to help cover cost of cheer items. This fee includes the following: * Cheer Tshirt * Cheer Bow * Breast Cancer Bow * Walker Performing Top or Jersey * Rental skirt * Performing Bow * Rental pom poms * Pink Out Fall Cheer Camp Discount * Mardi Gra Cheer Clinic Discount * 2024 Lollipop Classic Cheer & Dance EXPO Discount $15 Cheerleading Insurance Parents will provide black leggings, white cheer shoes and no show white socks. CHEER SHOES ARE REQUIRED Total: $150 Regis. + $175 Fundraiser + $15 Insur. = $340 2023 WALKER CHRISTMAS PARADE: We will have a vote of how many families would like thier cheerleaders to participate in the Walker Christmas parade in December. If the vote is yes, there will be an additional charge of $20 per cheerleader to be in the parade. This will include head fee, any parade decorations, Christmas bow and snack pack. |
SEASON RUNS October 5th -February 2024 PRACTICES 1st day of Practice TBD Location: Walker La EVENTS Walker Cheer Club is a year round cheerleading program with performances or community events or activities every month. Cheerleaders can join for 1 season (5 months) or participate all year!! Scholarships/Multi Child Discount Scholarships and Multiple child discounts are available for those families that qualify. . Expenses for the season are paid on behalf of your athlete at the beginning of the season,
therefore there will be no refunds if the season is required to be cut short due to local or national restrictions.
